I have to be honest... I have NO clue what I am doing with this whole "blog" thing... :) (But, a "good photographer" has some form of site or blog, right?? So, this is me, continuing to push myself and grow.) ;)
My name is Emily, I'm 25, I have been teaching piano for nearly 9 years, (I have my assoc. degree in Piano Performance), I also play the harp, make a little jewelry on the side. :) I am a "stay at home mom" (but as you see, I stay quite busy)! My 2 beautiful boys are *almost* 4 years old, and 17 months old. (The elder is my husbands clone, the younger is my clone. It's pretty awesome.) :) I am married to the hottest cop out there, who encourages me every step of the way, every day. (He's my anchor and my wings. I am the luckiest girl alive!)
And then there's this Photography thing... :) A little over a year ago I embarked on this photo journey, and since then I have grown SO much!! I have always loved taking pictures (back before everyone had digital cameras, *shock*--yes, I can remember back that far!, I would take roll after roll of film, photos of my cat, the sunset, my brothers, *everything*!) While studying music I decided to take a photo class, and LOVED it! (I even ended up taking first prize at the photo show at the end of the semester!) ;)
I just recently had a photo featured on a few Facebook pages (Photographers Connection , and The Professional Photographers Page ), and when I was asked to guest blog on Photographers Connection, It really hit home to me, just how much I needed to go ahead and start my blog. :) So, HERE GOES!! :) (baby steps) ;)
